At Legacy Cove, we’ve put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that your home-buying experience is as stress-free and easy as possible. We’ve created a building process as simple as keeping up with your home maintenance in our maintenance-free community. It’s as simple as picking your plan, picking your lot, signing a contract, and waiting for your house to be built.
1. Pick your plan
We wanted to be able to offer plenty of unique homes to residents of our community without sacrificing the cohesive look of the community. To achieve this, we had 8 different custom models and many design options developed for this community, which also have a number of floor plan options to ensure you can find the home that fits you. We recommend starting here as not every model fits on every lot, but most lots fit at least 4 of the models.
2. Pick your lot
Once you’ve decided on a model and floor plan, you can select a lot. There are 12 lots in the community, but depending on your chosen model, you may have a smaller selection to choose from during this stage. If you have a particular lot in mind, you may wish to start here and choose from the models that will fit that lot.
3. Sign a contract
Once you’ve selected your lot and model, all that is left is to sign a contract and wait for your home to be built. The contract lays out all the details so we can get started building your beautiful new home in Legacy Cove. Upon completion of the contract, you’ll know when construction will begin, have an estimate of construction time, and have all the payment schedules you need to ensure a smooth and worry-free building process.
4. We’ll keep you updated throughout construction of your home
The final step is to meet with our designer to make design selections in our design center, which is conveniently located onsite. We want to invite you into the building process. Not only can you watch as your home is built, but you’ll have opportunities to help us make sure your home is built exactly how you wanted it (even down to specifying electrical outlet locations). We’ll keep you up-to-date on the project and work schedule, inviting you to walk through the project at key stages and even send you photos of the progress if you’re out of town. We’ll be right there throughout the construction process to keep you updated and get your answers to any questions we may have, you don’t have to call us, we’ll call you.
5. Closing and Moving-in!
Once we’ve completed construction, we’ll walk you through everything prior to closing and create a punch list of any issues to ensure everything is just right before you move in. From there we will close on the home, which will come with a one year warranty, and you are free to move in and enjoy your new home in Legacy Cove at Rocky Hill!
